My Approach

My mission is to enable the dogs I work with to flourish and live the contented and tranquil lives we all desire; this is where the name Tranquil Hounds came to fruition. My tranquil life is being in the countryside with animals and walking, no matter what the weather, and I feel privileged to be able to do this in my work life.

My career has always centred around building an understanding of the influences that affect behaviour and learning. This was first evident in my work with children following the completion of my degree in Sociology and now through my study in dog behaviour and work as a dog walker and sitter.

My Background

Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl growing up on a small holding in Haslemere, Surrey with a trio of Labradors. We own two dogs Tess and Zoe, who are incredibly amusing and rewarding company.

I am currently completing a Level Four Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour with the British College of Canine Studies. I am fully insured, DBS checked and have a CPD accredited certificate in canine first aid with Dog First Aid Surrey.
